Energy Endures
(collab of Shaman and Prophet)
Leave the darkness behind
And fade into white
Tomorrow has come
Leaving behind it the night
Ripped into other realms
Where human language falls flat
In a moment life changes
No going back. Just like that
We, the pipers of the morn
Wait at the gates for the dawn
We sow the seed and sing the song
Of lost loves and rhythms gone
We're animals who are aliens
Having deep emotions and feelings
Not quite winning, not quite failing
Allowing the process of healing
Our escape from death’s grip
Has been foretold by the oracles
With all sight becoming sound
As earthquakes split the very ground
Feel the energy as I take your hand,
A power emits from another land,
time offers up yet another strand
We slip through the hourglass like grains of sand
In our hands we hold our pens
Writing of a tomorrow that hasn’t been
Shrouded in the mystery of our creativity
With Zen we learn how to live in harmony
Take a deep breath, and quiet the mind,
We write what we know -- Our faith isn't blind
It's beyond what we call yours and mine
The oneness when we combine is divine
Our time in this rhyme is growing thin
Like a slice of heaven, with no room for Man
Angelic voyages of treasures untold
reveal themselves in stories of old
There's more to perceive than right or wrong
when all we've come to know is gone
Together we've forged a magickal bond,
Our energy endures and carries beyond
Leave the darkness behind
And fade into white
Tomorrow has come
Leaving behind it the night
Ripped into other realms
Where human language falls flat
In a moment life changes
No going back. Just like that
We, the pipers of the morn
Wait at the gates for the dawn
