Live in love
If only I could watch the stars burn out
To bask an eternity by your warmth
Without the wistfulness of doubt
And the trouble of the future.
"All will fall into place"
This had always been your belief.
I look at you smile, your pale face
And curse life as you rebuke me.
You are the moon that lights the night
Making even grief seem bearable.
You smile at pain and make things right
In spite of how life lives to wane.
"Please bear the love that keeps me here,
The burden of love's sorrow, and its weight
When I am unable to wipe off your tears
That drop from the pain of loss and fate."
