"Glimmer"
I'm almost at the end!
I can feel it sinking in.
The glimmer shines like
silver vines before the
sky goes dim.
And in the bitter street lights glow...
of orange that warns of what's below...
Thoughts once scattered in my head...
Have found a place to sleep instead!
The cobalt shades that swarm above...
Acidic rain too strong to love...
A thousand fires burning blue...
could not distort the sight of you...
(For in that moment filled with grace...
I'll find myself and break these chains)
And though the sadness
seeks me out.
Despite it's strength and all its doubt.
I'm not as weak as I once was...
Because of you and all your love!
