ugh!

Frustration is what i feel when i am being picked apart by unnecessary comments. Sometimes things are just the way they are and a thinker will realize this instead blurting out negatively. Nit-picking something that doesn't fit your seemingly perfect view of how it should be is a useless waste of time and energy. A flaw is a good example of perfection seeing as how no one is perfect, and simply taking notice of this fact is beautiful in itself. By being frustrated i too am guilty of the same thing. While being picked apart i think of how this person should take a look in the mirror at their own flaws. In doing this my view also becomes narrow by thinking how this imperfection in my world is annoying. I realize this and choose not to indulge myself in blunt comments hoping to make some ground to change this annoyance but instead accept it as being another vital piece to making life complete. I begin to see a small glimpse of what being open minded means and has to offer. A certain sense of enlightenment washes over me and i feel freedom from these silly things that would normally burden my thoughts. I suppose it is similar to what the Japanese refer to as "saving face" or "face saving" by not acting on every impulse to speak your mind when being antagonized by another. Why lower myself to any level despite how justified it may seem at the time. Naturally as a human-being i want to defend myself by firing back, but at what cost is it worth it. I have concluded that i should never engage in any behavior that will compromise my spirit, personal beliefs, or moral compass for the instant gratification of the " tit for tat" way of thinking. Hopefully i will have the forethought in the future to acknowledge this and not get caught up in the cesspool of semantics.
