August 1st - What difference Does It Make ??
If I'm right about the date of the Russian Attack, I hope you will believe me when i say that the Tribulation Period(the duration of Russia's reign over the world) will be for only "5 months" (Revelation 9.5,10). NOT the "three and a half years" given in Daniel 7.25, etc. We can discount that figure for Christ said He would "shorten the length of the Tribulation" (Matthew 24.22).
Back woods, country bumkin preachers who ignore Christ's words -- they are "blind guides" (Matthew 15.14; 23.16,24). They hold onto teachings that they are supposed to let go. They are the same people who hold onto a "six days" Creation Week(Genesis 1). They see the Earth and the universe as both just 6,000 years young, instead of(1) 4.6 billion years being the age of the Earth, and (2)13.8 billion years as the age of the universe. Even though that figure (of 13.8 BYO) comes from astronomers reading the light of the stars, which light "declares the glory of God," as we are told in Psalms 19.1-4. Paul the apostle puts that light on a par with "the Word of God"(Romans 10.17-18).
If I'm right about August 1st, I want all you YEC, Young Earth Creationists, to let go of Adam and Eve. For, Paul said, "When I became an adult, I put aside childish things"(1 Corinthians 13.11). We are told that Adam was the first farmer(Genesis 3.23). THAT part of the story is is fairly close to the truth.For the genealogical record puts him around 4,000 BC. And the true start of agriculture was around 8,000 BC. Plus, Eden was in the Middle East. And agriculture is known to have begun in the Middle East. So Adam as a figure for mankind at the time of the Agricultural Revolution makes sense - more so than than Adam as the first man.
After the Second Coming rolls back the Kremlin's victory, America will be free to pick up the pieces and rebuild. Since the big cities will gone, the strongholds of the Demos, this means the GOP will run everything. Very Well !! But conservative Christians will think to replace Evolution in schools with YEC !! God forbid !! Intelligent Design, yes. Creationism, no, no, no. Replace atheistic Evolution with Theistic Evolution !!!
PS: now that it is Aug 3rd, I must admit I'm off. But I'll wait just a bit longer before I dump the "around 400 days" idea. It was "400 days," now it's "around" that many days.
