Bandits

The six bandits
Ransacked the land, savages
Ravaging burning sampling
Gallons of blood splattering
Multiple gallows gathering
Bodies that sat in stacks
Some wandering headless ambling
The bandits horses galloped brandishing
Death as a tuned mandolin
Souls and corpses dancing in
Rhythmic fantastic fashions
Writhing in gruesome passion
While the six stood laughing
Collecting the tithes asked of them
Questing to question phantoms
Of faith
finding no one was answering
