-just go away

     
words just keep pouring out even though    
I can't remember why I feel like this as I    
stand outside these cold, unfamiliar gates    
     
often we must look deeper within than we care to  
in order for the lesson to be learned; if we're honest  
with ourselves, most of the answers found rarely    
align with what we wanted to claim as truth    
     
there's no need to point, no one's to blame    
that's just how life works out sometimes;    
of course, even with this knowledge, comfort    
plays little part in carrying these words home;    
it still hurts like hell when someone you think
is very special says:
