Life is a metaphor for something a lot like it
I heard once that if you went for about a month or so without speaking,
then the words in your head that form as you're thinking would somehow disappear.
And so then when you look at a sunset, or a star at night,
you somehow connect in a different way to the image
using the different language of feeling; no words form a deeper meaning.
I think it says a lot on that aesthetic sense that we all feel with nature, or a piece of art,
there’s limited knowledge and understanding, but grace and beauty overflowing
How could we ever get away from the language pollution of today,
it’s like having to go way out of town to avoid the phony lights of society
to reveal the mystery of the star's whereabouts in the perfect blackness
And as I look at them, the billions and billions of tiny pieces of glowing energy
unfold within me, there are no words to spare,
It is that kind of quiet contemplation that makes life’s beauty more revealing.
