Singular Physicality
It matters not at all
The “who” or “what” of me
I am alone in the dark
And it matters not at all
Because in this dark
None can see
It matters not at all
The person I could be
Because I am alone
Inside this dark
And no one else can see
You dance around me
Talk and whisper
Unaware that I am here
I am a shell
A hollow tree
A being of physicality
With no depth to see
I save you
I reach out and save you
I am the voice of reason
And logic
And hope
There is nothing else to me
But this singular physicality
The “who” or “what” of me
I am alone in the dark
And it matters not at all
Because in this dark
None can see
It matters not at all
The person I could be
Because I am alone
Inside this dark
And no one else can see
You dance around me
Talk and whisper
Unaware that I am here
I am a shell
A hollow tree
A being of physicality
With no depth to see
I save you
I reach out and save you
I am the voice of reason
And logic
And hope
There is nothing else to me
But this singular physicality
