Sometime
Staring at the moonlight
Wondering how you’re doing
Maybe there’s away to let you know
Just how I’m feeling
Our story seems short lived
Wish we could continue the journey
If only I had a sign to let me know
You been waiting too
It’s been sometime since I felt your skin
It’s been sometime since I tasted your kiss
And I been thinking for sometime
About the road we traveled
Would it be wrong now to want you back
Falling feels like flying sometimes
Till you hit the floor
Then all that’s left is hurt
Something inside me tells me this isn’t us
I know there has to be more pages to this book
We are forever connected at the heart
And I know soon you’ll come running home
I just don’t want to wait any longer
Maybe I’ll give you a call, if only to hear your voice again
It’s been sometime since I felt your skin
It’s been sometime since I tasted your kiss
And I been thinking for sometime
About the road we never traveled
Would it be wrong now to say I still miss you
A sunny day
Would make up for those dark nights
A simple yes
Would make for some fun memories
It’s been a damn long time without my best friend
When I picture how you look now
I wonder if you’re the same as before
We can’t go back to how it was
Still I wait for new beginnings
Maybe I’ll be waiting forever
I know sometimes things don’t work out how you would like them to
No matter how much you miss someone
It’s not like they will just appear in front of you
But I know I’ll regret it forever
If I don’t at least try, and give this one last shot

Well love isn't enough sometimes. I think sometimes I hold on to things too long. Maybe most people do.
