I wish you could remain
In memory, untarnished
You become a spectre
Poisoned by love, in earnest
Poetry inked by quills
Surely dipped within scarlet
Blood aged like perfect wine
Rend the heart of love bereft
As I sit here burning your pages
Of tragedy and grief unbound
All I ever wanted was to love you
As we lay together underground
Lo, roses and tombstones
And the ghost of reflection
When phantoms are my friends
With my morbid condition
Love songs are lost to death
Lost on necromantic tongues
I should have gone instead
To drift where corpses are hung
But I sit here burning your pages
Of tragedy and grief untold
All I ever wanted was to love you
As we lay together so cold
My love died with you
Suicidal thoughts, so true
To find you once more
To love you
And kill you once again
Lover's moon awash in gloom
Illuminates our tomb
I wish upon your many scar
I may kill again all too soon
Blood will not wash away
Is there even a Heaven
To light the way through mists?
Follow the song of ravens
You heart beats still strongly
Within my crimson stained grasp
As I raise it surely
Just to sate my repast
As I sit here burning your pages
Of tragedy and grief unbound
All I ever wanted was to love you
As we lay together underground
My love died with you
Suicidal thoughts, so true
To find you once more
To love you
And kill you once again
