METEOR
(an English sonnet)
In nights of black ink, storm and deathly mind
When souls of frozen words cast rasping spells
And falling walls of heart’s despair leave blind
Numb, trapping hope in self asylum’s cells
That night when bright stars’ sky collapses in
When heaven’s gates echo in desperate prayers
Of breaking love that chokes what hope begins
That life itself should fail from wait it bears
In breaking clouds, her tales shimmering night,
A shooting star streaks t’wards horizon’s line
The Godly sign to mark my followed flight
She fills my all completing Time’s design
That meteor that proves true love to me
Will light my nights as long as I will be
In nights of black ink, storm and deathly mind
When souls of frozen words cast rasping spells
And falling walls of heart’s despair leave blind
Numb, trapping hope in self asylum’s cells
That night when bright stars’ sky collapses in
When heaven’s gates echo in desperate prayers
Of breaking love that chokes what hope begins
That life itself should fail from wait it bears
In breaking clouds, her tales shimmering night,
A shooting star streaks t’wards horizon’s line
The Godly sign to mark my followed flight
She fills my all completing Time’s design
That meteor that proves true love to me
Will light my nights as long as I will be
