How does one find themselves?
I hear people say all the time “you just need to find yourself”.
How does one do that?
I already know where I am at,
How much more found can I be than that?
Is there another me out there?
Am I not me and am the only one who doesn’t know it?

How does one find themselves?
I always believed that the saying “you just need to find yourself” was metaphorical
But now I see,
It is quite literal.
It is to tether yourself back to what is really there,
To know where you stand, not just in location but in life.
It is to know your place in the world
But still be tethered to reality.
That is how one finds themselves
