Bloodshed

From backyard brawler
To baller fed
The crowd drawer
Opponents' dread
Bohemian born
Miami bred
A boy from the south
Those streets he wed
The shock when I saw
The headline read
"At age 42, Kimbo dead"
Prayers go up
For the player who bled
May he receive in heaven
His daily bread

What a great way to pay homage to Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson. This year's has been horrible for martial artists and fighter deaths, and this was definitely a very simple, yet eloquent and touching way to remember Kimbo thru poem.

IKR, it seems like every 2 or 3 weeks you hear of a story of some fighter dieing in some way. Granted,most of those are not newsworthy names, but they were fighters nonetheless. Thanks for the comment.

Whhhaaaa??? Kimbo Slice died!!?? Damn...smh I'm stunned, this one got by me. As a lifetime martial artist myself, n fan of MMA I do feel a sadness. Outstanding tribute bro.
