Today's Thoughts

so now i begin
 with the pen again
 to place strokes of ink
 on a blank page
 which is my stage
 that i have become obsessed
 in expressing my emotions and pain
 thru the rain
 i can remain
sheltered in my room
 filled with happiness
that blooms in the sky
with my head held high
 i will overcome these obstacles
which has placed itself in my way
today i began a new day
on a journey to the unknown
 with the light God has shown
so let me end this poem
because this new outlook has just begun!
