Unease

You provoke
a quaking body
and shaking hands,
inability to speak
at a single gesture towards me.
Your words twisting my mind
into silence upon empty with ease.
Hunger for touch,
for words pouring through my ears,
thirsting the thought to be accepted.
My need for attention keeping me here,
making me want more
than this silence in my own head.
Skin soft to the touch,
a sensation kept between fingertips,
my fingertips shaking with constant worries,
constant thoughts changing the intoxication around me,
desire for comfort in heat.
Exposed,
inward I am hollow, impulsive
crazy in my desperate need
to get away,
I'm satisfied
only when the walls don't close in.
Ease me into a silky dream,
comfort away with alluring fantasies
of being okay for one night,
one day without the fluid pounding
of judgment upon me.
One day without my mind
caressing reality with it's own potion,
a terrifying rendition,
to make me silent,
to keep me shuddering
inside my skin,
hiding this bare soul
ridden with a lingering scent
of panic.
