I got sick
when I read
some worm scrawled
a single word
and called it a poem
praised it
on the high altar of art
and then said look at me
I'm a genius
But it turns out
he was a nice guy
after all

Should we focus on one or the either? Or really is it just about getting to know that cutey-pie and the words they fly?
Yes, it's a good question.
My thought is we are inevitably drawn to wonder about both - bearing in mind we carry with us the baggage of a lifetime which blows clouds over the skies of judgement stirring the shit up whenever it feels the inclination.
My conditioning told me that whoever dabbed the one word poem here like graffiti had to be a lesser mortal who automatically devalued my own postings which I had cried blood over.
But nope, he was a beginner experimenting as he saw fit, who also turned out to be a clever & likeable chap.
