Blind to the light
Blind to the light
It pains me to believe that I, no we, no
society has the audacity...
Or shall I say,
I am ashamed when I think that what has been graciously handed to you and me has been taken for granted.
Is it ok to live like we do, and be who we be, without any concern of what the outcome will be!
Christ died for Us all, you and me. Our salvation has been handed to us. We are debt free! Yet we live in this world of sin as if we have no fear. When in actually there should be! We declare we are saved but we shun our responsibility.
You see, tomorrow is never promised to any of us, Yet, we live as if we don't have a clue!
If the sky were to crack open today and the Lord were to appear, in all his glory, in front of you, what would you say? what would you do?
I am not so sure, how about you?
The Bible says "Jesus is the light and the way," but you live as if the light is too bright! So what do you put on your shades and you turn away. All the while you head into the darkness, where you choose to play!
Have we become blind to the Light?
Or is it we have become overconfident in the fact that "Jesus has paid the price!"
All we have to do is just live our life! What about "to whom much is given much is required"
We mistreat the promise of salvation like we pay on our credit,
you go to church on Sunday and think that is it. To me that's like making the minimum payment, really is that enough?
Slip up and miss one and they will repossess your stuff.
I have learned that minimum efforts get a minimum return!
Do we really want to risk an eternal BURN!
Heavenly Father, I hope this not the case,
because when it's all said and done, I long to see Your face!
