embalming myself
smooth cold awaiting stainless steel, warm quietly clotting blood,
the recently departed, unbreathing, undone.
supine in position, awaiting deaths physician, looking heavenward with wide eyes taking in or playing back, -life ,what must it be like as death becomes us all, hmm i wonder as i make my incision at the point of the sternoclavicular articulation, and prey for my salvation.
