Humming bird
Something's never change
The melody might not be the same
But the humming is there to stay
How I've missed that sweet music
And I didn't know I did till I heard it
I could listen to you hum all day
It makes me smile
And the sound takes me away
To a place where all my fantasies are replayed
Hum a melody for me today
Something I could play one day
Listen to the music in your soul
And let it take beautiful control
Dance to it like the smile
That dances on my face
Like a lovers warm embrace
Dance dance my love
And forget about the day
My heart will always be yours to stay

I lived in rural western Wisconsin all my life till about 6 years ago. I always had a humming bird feeder. And I loved sitting out on my deck with my eyes closed, listening to the low hum of their wing beats.
But before I sold my place, and moved to the city, I had quite a problem with a bear pulling down my feeders. A sneaky little thief, I'd see him and yell, and he'd run off.

Your welcome, I love humming birds too. We get them around here in Pennsylvania during the spring and summer. They're attracted to our butterfly bushes by our deck and I swear I always see the same two. I don't know if they mate for life but it is beautiful whenever I see them. Hopefully be seeing them soon :)
