be

No more names and labels to
Disguise who we really are
Anatomical fashioned organisms
Operating physical bodies made
Of stardust and celestial matter
Once roaming about Universe
Operated by a fleshy pink brain
With the engine being that which
We apply various symbolism to try
And capture its essence what it is
Does not matter but what is

So we go forth now with no more
Disguises or mask to hide behind
We are beautiful in our creation
For we each imprint on existance
To gaze at ourselves every night
For every star shining bright
Every glimpse of a comet
Every rotation of planets whatever
It may be, that is us merely gazing back
We can no longer hide from the light

No longer must you shy from the truth
Not after being hid for so long in
An obsequious fashion that we did not
Approve, for this challenge does not
Contend with the mere trifles we seek
To attain but its scopes lay farther
In realms that have yet to be explored
Mapped by the wonderous beauty of
Becoming
