- - - LEVIATHAN SKIES - - -
The sun doth blaze forth
Expanding its misery
To penetrate my winter gloom
Casting perpetual doom
The masters and makers of Apocalyptic bliss
Cannibalize the love of a sacrificial kiss
Dreaming of dereliction in celestial seats
A helm of darkness and a daemon cursed ring
Seraphim weep scarlet tears at the foot of my throne
Parchment skin stretched tight across protruding bone
To levy the sins of the father and daughters
Of nightmares come to rebirth in pools of slaughter
The ghosts I knew have tourniquets
Of decaying meat and empty pride
The raven flew to sacraments
Beneath greying Leviathan skies
And the birdsong greets cemetery dancers
At rusted gates by mid springtime dew
Quaking at my steps with misery renewed
Bones underfoot, death in the air
God damn all that is glorious and fair
I doth spit a curse
Like bitter wine tragedy
My hatred reborn in a blaze
Photos found home in the flames
Passion lingers here like a necromantic corpse
Flesh of thy feast piled high beyond the abyss door
Behemoths rising to greet ceremonial kings
Spread the innocents at banquets for cenobite queens
The godless shall be appointed with tides of blood
As unjust martyrs are forced to their knees in the mud
The vermin and carrion gather at thunder
The beast awakens, the harbinger of murder
And the birdsong greets cemetery dancers
At rusted gates by mid springtime dew
Quaking at my steps with misery renewed
Bones underfoot, death in the air
God damn all that is glorious and fair
The ghosts I knew have tourniquets
Of decaying meat and empty pride
The raven flew to sacraments
Beneath greying Leviathan skies
I welcome the storm
That brings your dismay
My nature was born
When hope perished
And was left to decay
And the birdsong greets cemetery dancers
At rusted gates by mid springtime dew
Quaking at my steps with misery renewed
Bones underfoot, death in the air
God damn all that is glorious and fair
The ghosts I knew have tourniquets
Of decaying meat and empty pride
The raven flew to sacraments
Beneath greying Leviathan skies
Come, Storm
And wash away the sounds of joy!
Lightning
Burn away the presence of peace!
Thunder
Resound the cadence of agony!
