Love and Indifference
Though I know which be the finer wine to dine
One could not be certain of which holds the sharper knife
-When both cut deep;
down past the bone
-When both egnite gunpowder;
stardust found in the depths of soul
Though I know which be the finer wine to dine
One could not be certain if it is better to go by fire, or by ice
-When both grant reasons to think twice
-When both taste of poison
that lends breath to life
I know which be the finer wine,
but which then holds the sharper knife
Do we live by fire, or die by ice
One could not be certain
-so we each partake in the roll of dice
One could not be certain of which holds the sharper knife
-When both cut deep;
down past the bone
-When both egnite gunpowder;
stardust found in the depths of soul
Though I know which be the finer wine to dine
One could not be certain if it is better to go by fire, or by ice
-When both grant reasons to think twice
-When both taste of poison
that lends breath to life
I know which be the finer wine,
but which then holds the sharper knife
Do we live by fire, or die by ice
One could not be certain
-so we each partake in the roll of dice
