Santa Clause (30, April 2011 )
Seeing is always believing,
Unless you are only shown lies.
Betrayal seeps through their teeth,
As you rush to save yourself.
With each heartbeat,
Their voices grow louder.
Pulling you back,
You're growing weaker.
You're drowning in their words.
Or are they yours?
And there's never anywhere to hide.
Your mind was your utopia,
But now filled with your hatred;
Hatred for your sorry life.
The only thing you ever knew,
And you can't change that.
Rip at the wallpaper,
Discover a world beyond your walls.
But you still hide in fear.
Unless you are only shown lies.
Betrayal seeps through their teeth,
As you rush to save yourself.
With each heartbeat,
Their voices grow louder.
Pulling you back,
You're growing weaker.
You're drowning in their words.
Or are they yours?
And there's never anywhere to hide.
Your mind was your utopia,
But now filled with your hatred;
Hatred for your sorry life.
The only thing you ever knew,
And you can't change that.
Rip at the wallpaper,
Discover a world beyond your walls.
But you still hide in fear.
