As The Leaf Falls Below

Green with envy attached to the tree
Living life as it may be
Coloration of skin likens anew

Waiting to fall on the fresh morning dew
Attaining the growth of in full expansion to reflect
Exuding my colors in season of exuberant possibilities

As the cold air begins to stir under the forest floor
The leaf is ready to fall below to this solid ground
For it is the cycle of God's expanding plan in His universe
