Sorry Mrs. Clinton I won't grab the bait
you claim you are a progressive, I say "wait, wait"
did you undergo some transformation after 2008
because in that year it was Edwards and Kuchinich who set the plate
while you and Obama battled for the moderate tag
hard to claim leadership when closer to the posterior and the wag
you got the Human Rights Campaign to endorse your bid
I guess they can ignore the fracking just under the lid
how about your role in a right wing coup in Honduras you mention in a book
it is called "Hard Choices" well I am not assuaged by the one you took
should we be comforted with your admiration for Albright and Kissinger
and your campaign chair's work for weapons makers what a troubling harbinger
you tell us we should provide more weapons for moderates in the Middle East
is that conducive to a road better taken, one that leads to peace
getting players to stop using arms that should be our aim
I would rather see us avoid yet again being the fool in the rain
that the machine you and your husband have crafted only operates one way

now Bill lashed out at Jesse Jackson for rumor that was untrue

your surrogates play an ugly game like Bill and Robert Johnson in 08
questioning of Obama's racial identity in that election you earned your fate

Huerta, Lewis, Steinem, Albright, Brock, McCaskill, assertions all rather lame
and so I wait for a sign or flicker of hope that will make me say
that if Bernie doesn't win in the Democratic camp I can stay
but it is hard with foreign policy because your affinity for the hawk
the posturing to feed the military industrial complex reduces me to a balk
as old Al Einstein said you can't simultaneously prepare and prevent war
when arsenals are crafted what else are they built for?

I think I didn't include those other events because they are a bit more cloudy. Certainly with Whitewater I have no connection into the thoughts of Vince Foster. Of course with Hillary there is the stuff that is pure witch hunting and that which is based in reality. With the Benghazi there may be something of note but the over jealous Congressional Republicans made the process a joke, as Kevin McCarthy found out.
