tempest kiss

it was a vicious storm
accompanied by the piercing eyes of lightning
& the terrifyingly brave voice of thunder.

love comes down like rain.
if it’s a gentle rain, it’s anonymous.
it’s plain; not pretty at all.

I crave the vulgar storm that breaks through the sky to
annihilate me. it inundates me & rips away the canvas
cloth that hides my nakedness. I want to make love to
it… I want to f*ck that storm!

do you know, woman, that you are a storm? you are
beautiful, & your beauty is terrifying. because it is not
Hollywood glamour, all high society, seamstressed in
silk & corsets.

your eyes bother me, & your mouth bothers me. your
mouth, painted in coarse red lipstick that makes fire
upon your lips. that shameless red that smears across
my belly when you are down low on me.

every woman hungers for it: the root of a man’s being.
she knows the thrill he gets when she attacks it with
her tongue, her lips & full mouth, in her most intimate
perversion. & that thrill is no less her own.

I hear you pleading:
oh f*ck, f*ck! I want to suck it!

you capture me in your sweet wet Elysium, & by your
rapture, & your moans, you make me love you; you make
me.  until the joy is unbearable, my eyes close by some
obscure devotion, & the white storm rushes from my hips!

    you lick your lips

& you gaze at me with your cat-eyes & your Cheshire grin,
knowing I am obliterated…

… here walks a ghost that once was a poem.
