ALONE AGAIN
the distance creates an emptiness
an uncomfortable chill
While I can conceal the hurt
I remain wounded still
with a heavy heart
and a lonely ache
I return the heart
that in the end
I could not take
too complicated to simplify
I get tangled in the words
for the straight line that was
has been lured to curve

..one of the most painful things I have ever had to do was to return her heart. ...the kind of pain that haunts me........that will not let go
