waiting

maybe eridanus is a cluster of headlights
beaming from the sea floor.

become the ocean.

there isn't enough wine in the world
to fill the cavity in me.

coalescence
is a star in the sky.

i am the drowsy desert and eons of black ribbon.

serotonin & dopamine
in my hospice of a skull.

dying in the tibetan sense.

living for the slow,
gradual, irreparable damage.

i'm waiting for my eyes to calcify.

i'm waiting for the windshield to burst
and for the water
to rush in.
