Me I see a sorry state of affairs
cameras at every turn
more rules than you can throw a rule book at

oppressive blank eyed thugs
toting assault rifles patrol
for who's safety is yet to be seen

We have mass global suffering, poverty and disparity on a new level
countries bombing countries
in the name of democracy
as poor souls flood the streets
fleeing home for a compassionate port

Can you not feel oppressions yoke
tighten like a noose
as corporate lords go for the kill
taking it all
including the very water of the earth
claiming ownership of the unownable
that's new

But what can you expect
when psychopaths and narcissists
run the show
building fences all over the globe
migrants keep out
citizens keep in

Seems obvious to me
penned in lambs eagerly awaiting slaughter
as sick as it is
genocide is nothing new

So
do you think
government has your best interests at heart
do you find society fair
just and free

Or
do you feel unwanted

DO YOU FEEL
