My Best Poem

 My best poem is the one
I have yet to write
I will know if it’s wrong
I will know when it’s right
All the others will appear
Read and feel like shite
This one will scan perfectly
The rhyming scheme so tight
It will not blow smoke
Generating heat and light
It will make the heart soar
Make the mind take flight
One you’ll want to learn
One you’ll publicly recite
It won’t be misty in its meaning
Its message will be bright
Never a need to edit
Not requiring rewrite
My best poem, you never know
