Adam & Eve

You let him ruin your soul
Take advantage of your attraction
The shell of a man
I mean it's clear what he's after

Your garden
He's tricking you into being his Eve
Devouring your fruit, planting weeds. then slamming the gate to your garden. Stepping on all your leaves
He didnt even wait for your fruit to become ripe
Spoiling your seeds
No sunlight to grow, no nutrients
No water reaching your roots
Shallow waters, shallow love
Barely knee deep.
Can I go deeper?
Drown your heart, and free you of your demons
His love isnt love.

He's just chipping away at your soul, leaving you in a beautiful mess of pieces
Launching you in madness
Leaving you with evils

He just wanted you on the sixth day of creation.
Butt naked. Entertainment for the flesh
But I'll consume you before the first.
Embrace you while you're still in darkness
I don't mind basking in your dark fields
That don't seem to give life in the winter
They remind me of my solitude
The perfect place to be
I'll sacrifice my peace for you
Cause I know eventually you'll provide light
For me to plant my own seeds and grow inside of your love
But will you let me?
Will you let me
Will you visit these lifeless fields with me?
Plant your own roses; we can grow whatever you want
Take your mind off the forbidden fruit
That seems half eaten and thrown away
Can I make you whole again?

He's not your real Adam.
I don't believe Adam would have let God take Eve from his life, put the fruit before Eve.
More will grow, in the fields that he leaves empty.
More room for me.

I might be your Adam.
I only say that because
Everything about you makes me weak.
Your temptation is stronger then any other
I have to resist it,
I don't wanna leave myself exposed to your demons
But Truthfully I don't think there's any better safe haven then inside your garden
Maybe I'm naive
But will God remove me from the garden
For waiting under your shaded tree?
Waiting for your fruit to fall in my lap.
