Expectant dreams but empty nights
Expectant flame that never lights
Hopefull heart grows only moss
Hopefull soul predestined loss
Grieving with a passion all its own
Leaden skies and icey rain
Leaden heart in timeless pain
Lonesome evening's reverie
Lonesome broken scatterd dream
Grieving for a lost love never known
Captive of eternal yearning
Captive and forever burning
Tortured soul and tortured heart
Tortured by an endless dark
Grieving for a light that never shone
