violet shimmers and broken wings
I've stolen you and now it shows
Choices of steel and words of prose
Ianthine fogs and distant memories
I remember naught but shadowy truths.
Now I stare at stinging wounds
As lavender clouds mist my pain
And yet they turn their blind eyes
As if I can't see through their lies.
You seep through my body and infiltrate my mind.
My hair - once curly - lays limp and spiky.
He shows concern and asks if I'm okay.
A taste of ivy apart from a world of violet.
And it's like the world has fallen.
Faint phantom feelings
They ascend like birds, and broken pottery mends.
His green eyes draw me to you, and yet I stand on broken wings.

Ianthine fogs and distant memories

Now I stare at stinging wounds
