Advancing The Plot

I ain't standing still like all these shiny suits/ cause the government's been rallying them up like troops/ now I ain't been one to salute/ so you may as well just shoot/ me down, militarize your masses, cause I got my own formations/ these lines of mine are just as powerful as the emancipation proclimation/ and like Abraham Lincoln, I'm just trying to set people free/ from enslavement of this society that's too blind to truely see/ the fact that we're being led astray from accomplishing our dreams/ when they keep releasing propaganda to keep our eyes glued to our computer screens/ no more books being read or knowledge gained/ it's all just war and bodies being maimed/ it's all just youtube views and instagram fame/ snapchat snaps and twitter feeds where characters are all the same/ copies of one another like who these days has an original thought/ 'cause it seems like we're falling behind, not advancing the plot/
