"Superman"
Although I might not know of the
Hell you went though,
I can say with confidence
That it does not matter
That you may be lying in the gutter,
That your brain is all a clutter,
Or that you are covered with
Hidden scars,
You are never in the gutter
With merely your eyes on the
Stars!
Strong and bitterly determined you are,
More for other`s than yourself you care.
I know your life,
Like this day,
Has not been fair,
But please, I beg of thee,
Open your eyes and see
That a new breath of fresh air is waiting
To take you anywhere.
Though I may not be made of steel,
Or answer in response at the speed of light,
I know it matters not the time, nor the place,
Whether friends or coupled,
To make you smile I will fight.
Just to see you smile
I would walk ten thousand miles
In hopes to rile up a shining light
In a dark lit night
I am here
And I will always be near
Doing what I can
Like Superman.
Hell you went though,
I can say with confidence
That it does not matter
That you may be lying in the gutter,
That your brain is all a clutter,
Or that you are covered with
Hidden scars,
You are never in the gutter
With merely your eyes on the
Stars!
Strong and bitterly determined you are,
More for other`s than yourself you care.
I know your life,
Like this day,
Has not been fair,
But please, I beg of thee,
Open your eyes and see
That a new breath of fresh air is waiting
To take you anywhere.
Though I may not be made of steel,
Or answer in response at the speed of light,
I know it matters not the time, nor the place,

In hopes to rile up a shining light
