"Heaven's Twilight"
A family’s loss feeling
Stunned and disorientated,
Pain and numbness,
Teary eyed and mourning
Unaware of time and space.
The life lost lived fulfilled and honest,
Joyous and light-hearted
Surrounded by friends and family.
She now resides in the Heaven’s
Smiling high above us in the love of
Heaven’s twilight
Loved by all,
Known by many,
She will forever be missed by anyone who knew her.
Though we knew her as
Heaven’s brightest star
Shinning in the mystical dawning of
Heaven’s twilight
Cheering conversations,
Magical moments,
Unforgettable company,
A light in a room,
A laugh in the sadness
With winters of Red and Blue,
The summers of Green and White
Shimmering in the array of
Heaven’s twilight
I miss you Granny
And I will see you tonight in
Heaven’s twilight.

It's interesting (and I can see why) you thought I was hinting at suicide.
Where I live we're known for our beautiful sun rises and sunsets, what I meant by the line "I'll see you tonight in Heaven's Twilight" is that the beautiful twilight and Heaven will be a little more bright, more colorful, and just overall prettier because my Granny is apart of it.

Thanks, yeah loosing my Granny was very hard and totally unexpected. I wrote this the day we found out she had passed away.

heartfelt write that I can definitely
relate to since we had my Grand-mother's
memorial on January 2nd of this year.
She finally give in after about 8 years of
Alzheimer's and dementia.
Seeing her deteriorate mentally and physically
from an healthy and vibrant woman was weird
but she was peaceful when she went.
Good ode here... Pan

Sorry for your loss Pan, I know exactly what you mean about the pain of watching a loved one deteriorate, I went through that with my Great Grandmother. (Not the one the poem is about) If you need to talk or just reflect I'm here for you. Glad I could create something that was so personal for you, even though I wish I had never had to write it. Thanks again for the read and comment, I wish you and your family all the best and may your Grand-mother can rest In Peace.
