Planted
I've stuck my spade into the earth
Held soil in my hands and inhaled
Traced the veins of the silent leaf
Collected treasures with malachite on them
I've sat beside a creek and listened to the Falls as the bug eyed dragonfly buzzed by
Hiked to the top of a hill and looked across The land taking me to a whole new place
I hesitate to ever leave this is were I go to Disappear and be my true self to absorb
The adventure and discovery is everything
You can call me an explorer I don't mind
Held soil in my hands and inhaled
Traced the veins of the silent leaf
Collected treasures with malachite on them
I've sat beside a creek and listened to the Falls as the bug eyed dragonfly buzzed by
Hiked to the top of a hill and looked across The land taking me to a whole new place
I hesitate to ever leave this is were I go to Disappear and be my true self to absorb
The adventure and discovery is everything
You can call me an explorer I don't mind
