We are pottery
Vessels
Made from earth
Seasoned with fire
Our tempers cooled
With water
Our softness cured
With air
But we are also flexible
Magical containers
Spinning on the wheel
Massaging grooves into our surfaces
We learn to hold each other
Inside each other
