(a valentine sonnet... of sorts...)

I never thought that I would feel like this
that I would find you here with me this day
with me on knees before your naked kiss
a promising of your forever stay

so giving wet as hands begin their task
and soft yet wetter still as slow they move
that you may finally see behind my mask
that I in every way my loving prove

I am dripping with you, your gentle rain
my lips find yours as you will find the hole
you in the muddy place of your unpain
me soaked in muddy rain filling mud bowl

I spread leaves over you, forever mine
your shallow grave, forever Valentine
