My lucky century

This is the one
the one hundredth poem
I have written so far

Topics ranging from Bozo the Clown to My dear sausage
I feel this is milestone
worth celebrating
an excuse to drink

Break out the wine
vodka
black label
tequila
and just drink

Now for the sentimental crap
thank you dear readers
esteemed poets
and local mad hatters
sniff...I might cry
Might

Hopefully I can reach century number 2
if it does not kill me first
or make my head does not burst
but let us focus on this century

where I may honestly say
that I loved writing these poems
