Fight Club Chapter 2

As they walked through the dark and deprecated slum, Jordyn felt completely safe. Even with her pale skin and blue eyes completely at odds with the majorities coloring, she felt completely at home with her hand in Kale's.
"You did great tonight, baby," She said happily, bouncing a little with each step. "That was a big fight for us, wasn't it?"
"It was, huge! Made us more than enough to last this month and the next," He said, looking down at her. She had to crane her neck to see his face, he was so tall, but she could tell even through the shadows that he was smiling.
"Thats my man!" she said, tugging on his hand, urging him to speed up. "C'mon, lets get back to the room." She was still revved from the fights and he was always best after a good win. He laughed, asking why she was in such a hurry to get back, even though they both knew the answer.
She was just about to make up some lie about being too cold, when he stopped, pulled her into his arms and kissed her. One of those hot, slow, forget your own name kind of kisses that left her weak at the knees. She kissed him back, one hand weaving itself into his hair, the other slipping under his shirt and sliding over the hard muscles of his stomach. He broke away and smiled down at her. Kale had the best smile, the kind that made you feel like you were the only person in his world. The kind that made a girl feel like he was falling in love with her for the first time, over and over.
"You're right, we should hurry," He said, with a sly grin and a gleam in his eyes. She beamed up at him and slipped her fingers through his. Then she took off, running as fast as she could, pulling him along, laughing like maniac. Probably a less than smart thing to be doing in this part of town, but she didn't think of that. The only thought in her mind was what they were going to do the second the motel door locked behind them.

Kale was living the ultimate sappy teen movie. Beautiful, blonde haired, blue eyed girl from the suburbs meets rough and tough ruffian from the ghetto. Immediately, they fall in love, Kale providing the taste of danger and excitement she lacked in her safe and normal life, and Jordyn finding the heart and soul in a man known only for his fists. Kale giving her edgy thrills and adventure, and Jordyn giving him love, compassion and a sense of home. How very cliché, he thought smiling to himself. Although he doubted any self-respecting movie producer would put what they had just done in a movie for children. His smile widened, and he glanced over at Jordyn.
Lying naked next to him, she slept. Blue eyes closed, rosy pink lips wearing the slightest smile, he knew she'd be dreaming of him. Slivers off light from the partially curtained window made her hair look like liquid silver, poured across her pillow and over her shoulders. Her golden gloss from summer was fading from her skin, leaving her beautifully and flawlessly pale and pristine. Lord, he thought, rolling onto his back and staring at the ceiling. Who would've guessed that Kale Mano, a hoodlum from birth, would ever be lying in bed with a girl like Jordyn. And as whipped and ridiculously in love as I am!
He sighed, embarrassed that any girl could pull such emotion and romanticism out of him. And as embarrassed and wimpy as he felt, try as he might, he couldn't keep that stupid smile of his face. He reached over, his hand gliding under the sheets and across her smooth stomach, pulling her towards him. She stirred, opening her big blue eyes and looking up at him. Smiling sleepily at him, she nuzzled her face into his chest.
"I love you, Kalei," he whispered into her hair.
"I love you, too," she said languidly, her cool breath giving him shivers as it drifted across his skin. She sighed, a sound of perfect contentment and peace. He closed his eyes, holding her close. And before he left himself float of to sleep, he made sure to thank God for is terribly perfect cliché of a life, and especially for the little blonde blessing curled up in his arms.
