Love Flies On
Her lips tasted like strawberries. She helped me find new, real feelings.
I wiped away her tears so her smile touched both ears.
Everyone is so blind to gay pride. The love she has for me makes me soar like a lion.
I hear her angels devour my demons in her laughter.
I endure new and powerful heights when lost in her eyes.
She inspires me to forget the defiance and ugliness of people who refuse to see the beauty in the lines we carved together in life.
Young love turned a new page in our lives. She lent me wisdom and common colors of happiness.
Then she hurt me. She filled my veins with ash and burned my wonder in life. My breath was painful.
She killed me.
But our love still flies on.
