What's On My Mind

What's On My Mind
I have so much on my mind
You don't even know
I wish i could just pause and rewind
I wish time would just slow

This is what's on my mind
so many things i think about
I want to freeze time
I just wanna shout

I can't believe time is moving so fast
I'm afraid to move forward and get older
But what other choice do i have.... the present never lasts
My life is like  a filling up folder

This is what's on my mind
I wanna keep going as far as i can
Only because i don't wanna be left behind
But i  wanna stay where i used to stand

These things are always on my mind
I really do miss those times

I wish i was a little child again
with all the long lasting joy
When i only knew how to count to ten
And every year on Christamas day expecting a brand new toy

Oh yes......i loved those days
Having a collection of barbie dolls
Playing with them in many joy filled ways
Never having to worry about the challenges to come or being stopped by a giant brick wall
Yes those were the days

You see this is what's on my mind
I look back and see
All the great memories
Starting from  5 years old
To my first kiss
All the way to now
And i think about how everything went by a lot faster than i ever expected
I wish i could go back to that first kiss
Or go back to nap time at five years old in kindergarten
Those were the days
When you could only see what the world looks like in a hundred thousand different ways

So this is what's on my mind everyday
You just didn't know it....
Until now
What's always on my mind
