Divine and Deviant (Elder Scrolls: Daedric Prince Vaermina)

It's not the nights of fear,
That lead me to asphyxiation,
The darkest of bargains,
My soul for her tongue,
In exchange for depraved inspiration,
I earn my place among,
The greatest authors of the era,
In the shackles of a Daedra.

My goddess forgive me for I have sinned,
I have not fulfilled the terms of our contract,
For while I forever remain your most faithful servant,
I'm afraid in my eagerness to serve you I did not read the fine print,
Alas that only now I am aware of your most crucial condition,
That our affair remained secret lest we attract attention,
But my goddess all of Tamriel must know of your majesty,
I must expound your magnificence through poem and symphony,
You are the goddess of my fortune and fame,
Allow me to be the prophet proclaiming your name,
For all that you have given me what do I owe you,
A lifetime of praise,
Or an eternity of servitude,
Instruct me as an instrument of your sacrosanct will,
Though I toss and turn at night I stand by you still,
A divine and a deviant to reshape the fabric of Nirn,
Through omens and revelations predicting that make my blood curdle,
And so I kneel at my bedside to perform your nocturne,
That will summon you to me,
Goddess of the Netherworld.
