 WISDOM
an oxymoron in it`s own pronunciation
 a paradox of construction
   and constriction
what seems so unerringly clear
 to the Pantheon high above
the tree line
 breathing altitude's thin air
atop barren mountains
 sit  flawed sages
determined myopically
 through only my own experience
accepting their council
 so risky
due to countless factors
 including
their own self-unconscious isolation
 by seeing things through
their past generation's
 limited lenses
it terrifies me
 that by trusting
in their most earnest expression's
 of kindness
it can ultimately cause mine and
 another loved one`s
most horrific emotional
 fall
