Baleful, her curse remains
To wither my heart in shame
Everlasting
Excruciating
Like a cold spike, at best
Driven straight into my chest

I�m bound in iron shackles
Burning into my flesh
When the mission bell tolls
Reminds me of her caress
This iron maiden laments
Feverish sacraments
I�m locked away from her eyes
So I do not scar her
She wishes on a star
As I surely burn
I must bare this damned penance
There can be no recompense

Without you to bear my lies
Venom drips into my eyes
Without you the days are grey
For you, I will shake these chains

Your offerings fade on my tomb
Roses withered to thorns
A kiss left in the rain
Leaves me broken and torn
Gone are the days of green leaves
Submitting to misery
Cruelty, my reflection
In these mirrors of ice
Lacerations remind
That I�m still alive
Cursed sisters of covenant
Designs my spiral descent

Without time to close my eyes
Her vision burns in my mind
Without her the days are grey
For her, I will shake these chains

You were once mine
Aphrodite or Persephone
To frolic with in forbidden woods
Now there is only the Underworld
For me
Only me
Without you here

A raven settles on my grave
Eerie songs for the dead
Shepherds across the Styx
Except for me, I dread
With no proper time to grieve
Pass from me on angel wings
Knives continue their approach
To cut on wasted flesh
But only dust remains
Awaiting her caress
Exist as a pestilent
Alone forever
As a revenant
