dreams of a nomadic moon

the radiance of her exudes through her
pores reaching me from an unimaginable
distance In but an instance washing against
the jagged shores of my soul then receding
away in airless wisps I gasp as I try to grasp
on to the feint remains of her fading twilight
only to once again be condemned to the
frigid darkness...alone

floating

in this endless sea of nothingness where
there's nothing left but time i count down
to the nano second til her new dawn as I
contemplate embellishing the translucent
linings of her soul nourishing her with the
particles of my arctic breaths leaving her
inner flame flourishing as her heightened
senses gravitate towards the chronological
trail left from my nomadic existence

we graze once again

and I become starry eyed by her brilliance
as I humbly capitulate to the perpetual flow
of ultraviolet waves she casts illuminating the
surface of my rugged terrain reflecting her
brightness a thousandth fold I try to stretch
each moment into a millennium of my distant
lover's embrace yet my despotic truth still
dictates the rhythm of my movements forever
condemned to be a voiceless voyeur to a
devolving orb kept away from the gala..

away from her

i dream the dream of many moons i suppose
one where there would be no scales for our
justice as my crust is consumed entire..her fire
lavishly blessing my icey essence with the gift
of entropy as i melt gloriously within her core
vanishing before a world in chaotic disbelief
it witless warts witnessing our cosmic osmosis
forming the new axis of US in tune to our never
ending tango as she and i dance among the
stars and i would have her sun's shine all to
myself..

yes

i only dream of such...
