Excuse the hidden bitterness
trying to spite down
on talented poets
which have worked hard

There is just a simple question that
needs answering
how the hell?
do some people get more views

Is it the topics?
the classics such as
IT
Bozo the clown
Santa is a junkie
My dear sausage

I mean being beaten
by a 19 year old
a kick to the balls much
what's worse
I follow her

Aw fuck!
maybe I should
just quit now
find a shallow grave
allow the dirt
to cover my confusion and my shame
partly my envy

But how?
how the hell are some people just better?
80 something poems
and they all feel like children
expensive, useless and a pain to deal with

Okay...fuck hidden bitterness!

none of it should mean a thing
yet it does

Knowing that someone half my age
or double that
could conjure up something better
laying waste to my work
just...how the hell?

I'll tell you how I comment & find work I like. I poet stalk, I'll check profile & poems, all of them. And you'll know because you'll have tons of comments on poems that inspire the comments. I can't comment if it's a lie. If I did, eventually you'd doubt not only yourself but me as well, fuck that. I benefit because I have updates. This way, I don't have to stalk & I'm guaranteed to enjoy. Sounds corny, but I'll tell you what, I have found some pretty amazing overlooked poets. It blows my mind.
