Empty Silence
Empty silence greets him as he walks the face of the earth
Walking her beautiful streets not seeing anyone....anything
Looking left, looking right, not a soul in sight
The lights still turn green, yellow, red
He doesn't even hear the crickets when he is in bed
He awakes only to the chirps he sings in his own mind
He walks the face of earth, searching for something to find
She cries tears upon the empty world, and him as he continues his journey
A search for a single soul, a person he can touch, a face he can see
Empty silence greets him as he walks the face of the earth

I can sense the air of loneliness, but with a hint of wanting to find contact...a lot of people feel this way. In this day and age, because of technology, we tend to be more inward, and less aware of the world around us. Finding some form of humanity gets less and less, we're either to busy or just ignorant of what is passing us by...very good write! Bravo! ****

yea thanks, It was for a challenge of ten lines only, I wanted to go more into how he can't see anyone but everyone can see him. something like that. but thanks glad you enjoyed :)
